LTC3110 sub-part differences

Hi,

We are have some questions about the inter-changeability of a couple parts in the LTC3110 series.  Is there any difference between the LTC3110IUF and LTC3110EUF?  It appears one is harder to source and generally more expensive than the other.  Is there a reason for this?  I cannot find any difference in the data sheet and just want to make sure it is safe to interchange them.

Thanks,

Jim

Please see Note 2 on page 4 in the datasheet:

Note 2: The LTC3110 is tested under pulsed load conditions such that  TJ ~ TA. The LTC3110E is guaranteed to meet performance specifications from 0°C to 85°C junction temperature. Specifications over the –40°C to 125°C operating junction temperature range are assured by design, characterization and correlation with statistical process controls. The LTC3110I is guaranteed to meet specifications over the –40°C to 125°C operating junction temperature range.
