I use LT1936 to creat 5V output，Io=70mA，when VIN=10V,Io=70mA，When VIN=24V，Io=70mA，and the chip heats seriously。Please help me。

hello, it should not heat up considerably even at 24V input. I suggest you can check some pin voltages and waveforms, such as VOUT, VIN, SW, and BOOST. Also you can check the soldering. And if possible, check the input current.)
