Trying to simulate downloaded LTC3649_DC2112A.asc and it gives strange result:
Just added current limit resitor 80k to limit current at 1A. At moderate loads (ie 2ohm) it works as expected. But when output is shorted (~0.1ohm) simulator shows 4A current.
Is that just a simulator problem or real part does also this? If so, it would mean part has no short protection and what for is the current limit then if it does not work when needed most?

Bench verification shows the load current is limited at 1.1A under overload condition and ~1.5A with shorted output.
