Hi,
I am using ADP5052 to power altera cyclone v gx,
issues,
1) CH1 and CH2 does not turn ON when switching frequency is less the 850KHz. (CH3 and CH4 workes without any problem)
2) switching frequency resistor value changed to 24.3K, CH1 and CH2 turned on but the output expected voltage is not met.
3) when i connect CH1 and CH2 to a small load i.e 50mA, the regulators gets latched off and the output is disabled.
i tried changing the compensation RC values and also set the PMIC to Automatic PWM/PSM Modes but no luck. please help.
Thank You,
Nithish A N
ADP5052 has min on duty cycle limit, so could not convert 12V to 1V with >800Khz switching frequency in FPWM mode.
Hi Leo,
Thank you for your replay!
After re mounting the ADP5052 it started working fine. so it was soldering issue.
Regards,
Hello Leo,
I have set the switching frequency to 600KHz, and the input voltage to the PMIC is 5V. CH1 is giving 300mv and CH2 is giving 1.5V. expect voltages are 1.1v in CH1 and 2.5V in CH2. Also imusing Si7228DN duel n channel MOSFET.
I have a evelboard of ADP5050 in which the input voltage is 12v and switching frequency is 800KHz, it is giving me proper voltage with load. can we have a discussion in skype?
