Definition of Vcspn

Hi,

Can you explain me how you determine Vcspn using the following plot ?

Let's say DCmax = 0.106 V

Thank you

  • Hi Stephane,

Sorry for late reply. I hope you got an answer for this already. Can you tell me what ADI part number is this graph from? I believe this graph refers to designing R-sense resistor for current-limit function. When voltage differential across R-sense goes to value in graph, current-limit will manifest. Must be a bi-directional converter since R-sense voltage value for current limit is positive and negative.

  • I was informed that you are referring to LT8709. Can you clarify your question since use of these pins are explained in page 23 of datasheet. For duty of 20%, voltage across these pins VCSPN can only go ~50mV.
