By default, the ISET resistor would be set to their minimum charge current (in this case it's 20% of IFCHG in the T1-T2 region). This way when the charger is inserted it always starts at the minimum charge current then customer can adjust it by switching in the full charge current once they have had the chance to adjust the temperature settings.
A quick note about the below drawing. The resistors on the MAX14745G side of the switch in order to mask the switch capacitance from ISET. ISET is sensitive to parasitic capacitance, so it’s important to connect it in this way.
