The samples size is an IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) with 32 samples. It doesn't store any of the sampled values, just moves the output by 1/32 of the difference between the new sample and previous average
The FilterCfg register sets the averaging time period for all A/D readings, for mixing OCV results and coulomb count results.The default POR time constant for AvgCurrent register is set as 5.625s, and is not recommended to be modified, unless absolutely necessary by the application.
