Can I use the DS277X with Li+Polymer LiFePo4 batteries?
Yes. The DS277X can measure voltage, temperature, and current, and estimates available capacity for rechargeable both lithium-ion (Li+) and Li+ polymer batteries. LiFePO4 batteries are more difficult to fuel gauge and while the DS277X family could be used for LiFePO4, the MAX17055 or the MAX17201/MAX17205/MAX17211/MAX17215 would give better performance.
