My DS278X parameter values are resetting after power down. How can I prevent this?
The DS278X has shadow RAM and EEPROM. The part uses the values in RAM while it is running and can copy to and read from the EEPROM as needed. If the values in RAM are not copied to EEPROM they will be lost if power is removed. Be sure to write values to the EEPROM before powering down the chip. All values that have been changed in the registers will be lost if they are not written.
