Iso-SPI circuit for 800V+ systems

Category: Hardware
Product Number: ADBMS1818

Hi.
I am using ADBMS1818 with LTC6820.

1. What is the correct schematic for reliable communication with Iso-SPI for high voltage (800V+) systems?
2. Which side of transformer (cable side or AFE side) needs the TVS diodes(5V Bi or Uni)?
3. What is the recommended center tap capacitance to ground?

The datasheets of above devices, ADBMS1818 development boards and ADI community post (linked below) have different circuits.

I have a isolation transformer with integrated CMC on AFE side. Shielded ethernet cable connects the AFE daisy chain to LTC6820. I am concerned about ESD damage during installation/maintenance where cable is touched.

Thank you and regards,
Pranjal Kumar
