Not showing voltage after connecting everything

Category: Software
Product Number: ADBMS6830

I am using an ADBMS6830-EVAL and attempting to communicate with it through the EVAL-ADBMS6822-TSY. I have followed the user manual by connecting the voltage inputs at J1 and interfacing J3 of the ADBMS6830-EVAL board with T1 of the TSY board. However, when I press the quick-measure or any other measuring button, the output consistently reads approximately 1.49 V, regardless of the voltage applied at J1.

  • Can you probe VREG and see what voltage VREG is at when sending the commands?
If VREG is not at 5V, that means IC has not woke up. It can be that V+ to V- voltage is not above 12V or IC is not receiving commands from isoSPI. If you can probe IPB & IMB of he port you are connected to you can observe isoSPI signals.
