Discharge/Charge Current Monitoring

Thread Summary

The user inquires about monitoring charge/discharge current and setting max/min values for shutdown using the ADBMS2950 and ADBMS6830 with BMS_BROWSER_GUI_BM. The final answer indicates that support for NDA-covered products like the ADBMS2950 is not available on EngineerZone and directs the user to contact the CIC team for assistance.

I am using an ADBMS2950 along with two ADBMS6830 in a daisy chain to monitor a 17-cell battery pack the boards are connected to SDP-K1 through isoSPI connections. I am using BMS_BROWSER_GUI_BM to monitor and look at the cell voltages and more. I know the ADBMS2950 is capable or measuring the charge/discharge current through the shunt connected to its board. However, I can't find where on the GUI I can monitor where it is. Does anyone know if the GUI has the capabilities to measure the charge and discharge current and also set certain max or min values that will make it shut off so it doesn't hurt the system? If so, where do I find it and how would I go about setting it up?
