Hi,
I have a circuit that matches "Application Circuit 1: Li-Ion Battery Charger, 2 = Cell, 8A (Typical Performance Characteristics)" found in the LTC4015 datasheet. When I am charging the battery by supplying voltage to 20V Vin, I am reading a current from the IBAT register (0x3D) that matches the current limit set in ICHARGE_TARGET(0x1A).
When I remove Vin, and apply a 1Amp load to the system, I don't see that reflected on the IBAT register. I am instead seeing values like 0xfff3 stored on the register, after converting it to amps the value is nowhere close to -1Amp.
Any insights would be appreciated.
