Technical Queries on LTC3337 Fuel Gauge – Capacity Consumption, Accumulated Charge, and GUI Integration

Category: Hardware
Product Number: LTC3337
Hi Team,

I am evaluating the LTC3337 for use as a fuel gauge to measure coin-cell capacity utilization and have a few technical questions.

  1. Does the accumulated charge include the device’s own quiescent/operating current? If so, what portion should be subtracted to obtain the actual load consumption, and what level of measurement accuracy    can be expected?
  2. Additionally, what exactly does the “Accumulated Charge” parameter shown in the GUI represent — total charge drawn from the battery or only the coulomb counter value — and how should it be                     interpreted to estimate the consumed capacity accurately?
  3. Lastly, please confirm whether the GUI is included with the LTC3337 Evaluation Board or provided separately, and how it can be accessed or installed.
Your guidance on these points will help us accurately assess the discharge capacity of the coin cell battery in our testing setup.

Thank you for your support in advance.
