Product Number: MAX17320
Hello,
For a new batterypack design I'm looking into the possibilities of the MAX17320 BMS chip.
the idea is to integrate a charger into the battery that communicates via I²C or SMBUS with the MAX17320.
Is the MAX17320 capable of controlling an I²C or SMBUS charger IC in a stand-alone configuration without the need of an external MCU?
If so, which charger ICs are compatible?
