    Dear Support,
    

    I am currently testing out a DS2711/12K Eval kit using a single AA NiMH cell.
    I have all of the jumpers correctly positioned and I am using a 5V 1A power supply connected to PWR2 and GND as I am using on-board regulation.
    

    When powering on the supply, LED D1 blinks faintly at a 50% duty cycle, indicating a fault.
    

    However, I cannot see anything that would be causing a fault.
    I've tried this out with multiple cells, each at about 1.1V to 1.2V.  This should be an acceptable voltage to begin charging.
    

    Any ideas as to what the issue could be?

        Update:  It seems to be working now.  I was using the on-board regulation configuration, but that did not work.  So I don't know if the on-board regulation is faulty or if something else was causing an issue.
        

        So I configured the jumpers for on-board regulation with a separate power supply for the DS2711 VDD.  That got it working.
        

        However, there is an error in the user guide for the kit in regards to LED Flash Selection.  I wanted to have an 80% duty cycle flash during charge.
