Product Number: MAX17055
Greetings!
Recently, I got interested in the MAX17055, and perusing the datasheet I noticed that, contrary to many other Maxim/ADI products, this IC specifically has no SMD marking information. I scoured the whole product page, and even ADI's website, for anything resembling marking information, but I failed to find it.
Generally, for Maxim/ADI devices, I see this information in an "Ordering Information" section of the datasheet. Unfortunately, for the MAX17055, I can only find the part number, and some other common information, but not what I'm looking for.
It seems that the MAX17205, another IC I was considering for a different 2+-cell application, also lacks said information:
Just to clarify, follows an evidence of the marking being indicated in the Ordering Information Section, but for a third part:
I understand the importance of buying from reputable vendors, but I also need to have the ability to verify if my order was appropriately delivered, i.e., the correct part was sent. "Trust, but verify." :)
As I still have to order those parts, I wonder what information is marked on them. Even if it is as obvious as the whole part number/code, that should be clearly indicated in the datasheet, as a normative source of truth, but for those parts specifically, clarity is somewhat lacking.
So, If I wrongly interpreted the datasheet, or if the SMD marking information is somewhere else, I apologise. In any case, I kindly ask for directions. Any help is greatly appreciated!
