Designing a lead acid battery battery charger with LTC4008-1, i need to be able to change the ouput voltange and current to adapt to different kinds of batteries, Vout: 13-15V and Ioutmax: from 1-4A, i plan to do this setting the Imax to 4 with Rsense = 0.025 and Rprog to 26.7KOhms like the datasheet indicates, and limit the current with a pwm signal like the datasheets says, it also indicates that you need a few KHz and if pwm is used change Cprog(C5) and C6, but i cant see any indication of the values these components need or how to calculate them, in theory the max current wont change mid charge, and the voltage i plan to change it with a digital potentiometer, i also need help calculating L1 with a Vin =24v and a ripple of 0.1A, my calcs say arround 220uF would be ok but confirmation would be nice, finally, i don fully understand CLP/CLN i see that they are for monitoring the power source, but i dont really understand how to disable that function because my suource is a lab bench power suppy. Could you please help me find the value of these components, thanks.
