Monitoring SE20542NR29 Battery with LTC2943 — Compatibility and Setup Questions

Hello everyone, 
 I&rsquo;m working on monitoring an SE20542NR29 14.4V, 5.7Ah, 82.08Wh Lithium-Ion battery using the LTC2943 Battery Monitoring IC , and I have a few questions: 
 
 Is the LTC2943 IC compatible with the SE20542NR29 battery specifications? 
 Can the LTC2943 interface directly with the MSP432E401Y MCU over I&sup2;C without any issues? 
 Without the DC509 adapter , EVM , and QuikEval software , is it possible to manually initialize the LTC2943 by directly writing to its I&sup2;C registers? 
 
 Any guidance or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Is the LTC2943 IC compatible with the SE20542NR29 battery specifications? I quickly looked the battery and LTC2943 should work without any issues with LTC2943. You have to make sure sense+ pin of LTC2943 wrt sense- voltage doesn't go below 3.6V. 
 Can the LTC2943 interface directly with the MSP432E401Y MCU over I&sup2;C without any issues? Any MCU should work as long as it can communicate over I2C with the LTC2943. 
 Without the DC509 adapter , EVM , and QuikEval software , is it possible to manually initialize the LTC2943 by directly writing to its I&sup2;C registers? Yes, LTC2943 can be initialized without the EVAL boards or software.)
