Dear Sir
Our team is trying to implement MAX17048 as battery fuel guage.
We are using Default model as given in MAX17048 chip
Later on we founded that PC software provided by Analog Devices can be used to check the registers and its performance
For using the PC software a adapter is required that is DS91230+, which costs nearby 150 to 200 USD
Can any other generic USB to I2C convertor chip de used to connect the MAX1048 with software
Kindly guide us what to do as we cannot spend 200USD to buy a dongle
Please help as we had already chosen he IC for Battery management
