ADBMS6830B’s GPIO

Question

My customer is trying to monitor 30 cells using two ADBMS6830B. He intends to monitor 15 cells each for one of them. I know from the data sheet that the GPIO of the ADBMS6830B is compatible with digital input/output and analog input, but please let me ask the following questions. 
 Can he use 3 channels of the GPIO pins on one ADBMS6830B for analog input and 1 channel for digital output? GPIO1 <= Analog (input) GPIO2 <= Analog (input) GPIO3 <= Analog (input) GPIO4 => Digital (output) 
 He is concerned about whether it is okay to mix up the analog input and digital output pins.

Yes, each pin can be individually configured. If configuring the pin as an output make sure to use a pull-up resistor to VREG (or whatever other voltage you want to be logic high) as the output is open-drain.)
