The LT8491 chip cannot properly drive the high-side MOS at the BAT terminal

Category: Hardware
Product Number: LT8491

The schematic diagram is as follows

The DEMO has a DC input of 24V and a set output battery voltage of 67.2V. When charging starts, the TG2 pin is measured and it is found that the voltage of the TG2 pin is not biased by VBAT+6.35V, but follows the voltage of the SW2 pin. The BOOST2 pin is measured and it is correctly boosted to VBAT+6.35V. And the IMON_IN pin voltage is greater than 195mV. Since the high-end MOS does not reach its driving threshold, it is only charged through the body diode, resulting in severe heating. Is this because the register is not configured correctly? Or is it an oversight in the hardware design?
