Dear Sirs,
MAX77986 datasheet recommends using 2x22uF capacitors decoupling BYP pin. Is impedance of BYP to drain of QHS transistor smaller than impedance between drain of QHS and CHGIN input, so input current is taken from BYP capacitors, not CHGIN capacitors (after start-up)? We have got small space available for charger circuitry in our design and it would favor input capacitance placed by CHGIN pin, not BYP. Is it possible at all, what potential penalties would be?
