I have spent hours using the component filters and searching datasheets and just can't seem to find an suitable part. If anyone has a suggestion, I'd sure appreciate hearing it.
My device needs the following..
1. USB powered for battery charging (500ma is ok, 1 cell Li-Poly) and boost for system power (4.2V @500ma). It seems easy to find parts intended for OTG, but they seem to supply power back out the USB V+ input.
2. System power needs to have top priority and ideally the device would manage charging using available remaining power after supplying Vsys
3. It needs to be standalone; ie. not requiring a serial interface to setup/monitor status via a processor.
4. Needs a very small amount (10ma) of regulated low voltage for always on circuitry to detect a power up pushbutton (or some chips seem to have an input for this).
5. Status needs are Power Good and Charging/Charged/Fault.
6. A safe method to reset if things are locked up
I'd sure appreciate some suggestions
