Hiya,
I am planning to use MAX17263 in new board design to do battery fuel gauging as well as output voltage cut off at a particular low voltage value by utilising the ALRT pin output.
Battery - 14.54V 7000mAh 4S2P battery. (3.635V single cell nominal voltage)
My questions are,
1. How to setup IC to give alert only based on voltage i.e, only if the battery voltage reaches down to 12V? (Its saying to disable threshold set to the minimum value but how where to find what the minimum value is?)

2. For a 4S2P battery pack all the register/threshold setting based on the single cell used to make the battery pack or based on final battery voltage?
3.How to decide I need to select high side /low side sensing?
Regards,
SC
