Hi,
I am looking for information about the coulomb counter and its capability to measure rapid consumption burst (few ms).
Sampling rate is provided for ADC but I can't find information for the Coulomb counter.
Coulomb counter is described in page 8 of Datasheet :
"The differential voltage between SENSEP and SENSEN is first low-pass filtered and then applied to a precision coulomb counter.
The coulomb counter integrates and then digitizes the differential voltage, incrementing and decrementing the Accumulated Charge Register (ACR) as needed."
Can you provide any information regarding :
- Low-Pass filter cutting frequency
- Coulomb counting sampling frequency
- Global Vsense maximum bandwidth
Best regards,
Laurent

I'm also wondering this. Did you ever determine the answer Laurent?
The resistors between the SENSE and the CF pins and the coulomb counter sampling frequency are configured such that when a 470nF capacitor is inserted between CFP and CFN (as recommended in the datasheet), errors due to aliasing / undersampling are below the guaranteed Total Charge Error. The coulomb counter sampling frequency is comparable to the ADC conversion rate.
