MAX77976

Question

The datasheet for the MAX77976 states that the maximum discharge current is up to 10A. But the device is shutting down VSYS at approximately 5.5A. 
 Is there a way to force a higher current before VSYS is removed, for example 9A.

Hi Mike, that's the exact same problem I've been battling with, and the FAE said they are not aware that Vsys should even shutdown as a result of over-current. I ended up using an external P-channel MOSFET driven by QBEXT from the MAX77975 to divert battery current from passing through the part. This works well.)
