Difference between sleep mode of LTC6813-1 and shutdown mode of MAX17854

Hello,

My customer is revewing a spec. of ADI BMS ICs (LTC6813-1 and MAX17854) .

They want to use a BMS IC with lowest power operation.

During  then, they find that a sleep mode of LTC6813-1 and a shutdown mode of MAX17584 has some difference.

So they ask the definition about a sleep mode of LTC6813-1 and a shutdown mode of MAX17584.

Would you let me know the difference  between a sleep mode of LTC6813-1 and a shutdown mode of MAX17584?

And also would yout suggest a BMS IC with lowest power operation?

Please advise me.
