what is the DC1812A-B eeprom ?

Category: Choose a category
Product Number: LTC2944

What is written in the EEPROM in the DC1812A-B module? If I use the LTC2944 directly as a product, I want to connect QUILEVAL or the LTC2944MSI software directly, without this EEPROM, is it possible?

In fact, without the EEPROM on the DC1812 module, the two upper computer software cannot be opened, and the display shows "LTC Devices not found", which is a very strange phenomenon.

the key is "LTC2944,Cls,D2943,01,01,DC,DC1812A-B"?

but the "LTC2944.msi"  software show "LT Devices not found"

i  always think...........

  • What is written in the EEPROM in the DC1812A-B module?

    • Internal information. However, EEPROM is what allows the serial communication to DC590B via I2C.

Is it possible to interface LTC2944 directly?

    • No. Checking the user guide of LTC2944, it shows that DC1812 module is necessary to interface it to QuikEVAL software. (https://ltspice.analog.com/software/ltcqev.exe)
