LTC2943

Hello.
My application has a minimum consumption current of 600uA and a maximum consumption current of 70mA.
The maximum charge current is 1A.
Two series connections of lithium-ion batteries.
3400mAh capacity and 8.4V voltage.

Is LTC2943 suitable for my application and
Is it correct for me to calculate RSENSE?

    - Yes, the LTC2943 is suitable when you want to count the accu-coulombs
    - yes, you should calculate Rsense appropriately as this determines maximum current, current resolution and errors.

One practical hint - not to be overlooked:
The absolute maximum difference voltage between the sense-pins is +/-0.3V !!
Every short circuit or severe overcurrent will blow the IC (and the sense resistor itself)!
So I would reccomend, to place a fast overcurrent limiter after the LTC2943.
