MAX77962 is a buck boost charger, in which mode it will have more current on inductor for a certain input current? This is useful in inductor selection.

In boost mode, ILX=IIN; In buck mode, ILX=IOUT>IIN. So for a certain input current IIN, buck mode will have higher inductor current. During inductor selection, you cannot only use average current but peak current to compare with inductor saturation current.
