The VFSOC (FFh) register allows the user to find the battery SOC solely based off of the voltage of the battery instead of a combination of voltage lookup and coulomb counting. In addition, the VFOCV (FBh) register holds the value of the open-circuit voltage as measured by the fuel gauge.
