To calculate the offset in the system, please apply a voltage source with no load present on the MAX17201. The columb counter must be monitored over a long period (~ 1 hour minimum) to determine how much it has changed with no load present. The coulomb counter divided by the time gives the offset current, which can be loaded into the COFF register (opposite sign).
