How to prevent the SOC drop near empty since MAX17050 didn't have the empty hold feature?

MAX17050 only feature Maxim fuel gauge m3 algortihm without empty hold fuction which was included in m5 algortihm. Customer needed to do a manual software smooth based on VFSOC when RepSOC is below 5%.
