Original Question: Could I have AD8250 model file? by moto
Hi
I want to do the simulation of AD8250.
I made the model from "AD8250.cir" file.
But I couldn't simulate that.
Error message is below.
*** ERROR *** The circuit is too large to simulate with this version.
Too many analog nodes
Please provide the AD8250 model file?
and please give us the tips to go well .
Regards
moto

Verified Answer: RE: Could I have AD8250 model file? by JGunao
Hi Moto,
Sorry, we do not support LTspice. Our models are only evaluated in three different platforms including ADIsimPE, Multisim and PSpice.
I would like to clarify that the AD8250 spice model can be simulated using the ADIsimPE. However, the model is not yet encrypted and that's the reason why the error in your simulation occurred. The encryption process of the model can solve the node limitation problem.
I will determine how long would it take for the AD8250 spice model be encrypted so that you can use your simulation circuit in ADIsimPE.

Jay
Question: RE: Could I have AD8250 model file? by JGunao
Hi Moto,
I think the AD8250 model has not been added to the library of the ADIsimPE. It is possible to download the AD8250 spice model from the website and import the model just like to did. However, the error that you've seen from your simulation is one of the limitation of the simulator, you can check the user guide of ADIsimPE on this link: http://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/user-guides/ADIsimPE_UG-706.pdf and read the ADIsimPE limitations section on page 14. Since the AD8250 has not been encrypted yet, the node limitation does apply to your application circuit.
For now, as an alternative you can use the AD8251 encrypted model. The only difference of the AD8250 and AD8251 models is the gain configuration of the parts.
I will work on this so that the AD8250 encypted model will be added to the library. Thank you for raising this query.

Jay
Question: RE: Could I have AD8250 model file? by moto
Hi Jay
Thank you very much for reply.
I understood this spice model isn’t for ADIsimPE such as having node limitation.
I tried to simulate by LTSpice, but it was unrespectable operation..
I don’t know what is the problem, that is this spice or how to use.
Sorry for the trouble.
Could you show this model innocence?
I know AD8251 simulation is better way, but I need to do AD8250 simulation.

Question: RE: Could I have AD8250 model file? by moto
Hi Jay
Thank you for your support.
I wanted you for me to make sure by Multisim or PSpice.
It might be difficult, I think.
I'll be waiting for providing the encrypted model.

Hi Moto,
Thank you for waiting. I will update you once the encrypted version is already available.

Jay
Question: RE: Could I have AD8250 model file? by JGunao
Hi Moto,
Thank you for waiting, I re-attached your schematic and I already placed the AD8250 encrypted model in the circuit. You can now run the simulation. If you have any more concerns kindly let me know.

Jay
Question: RE: Could I have AD8250 model file? by moto
Hi Jay
Sorry for slow reply.
This simulation is operating, I made sure.
Good!
but command shell indicated the followings
Errors found during the run. Simulation aborted
*** ERROR *** The circuit is too large to simulate with this version.
Too many analog nodes
AD8251 does not come up this message.
Can we ignore this?
I had a chance to use Multisim, then AD8250-spice has worked.
This spice parameter should be OK.I understood.
Thank you very much for your excellent support.
