Dona,
the SPICE models included in the ADPsimPE library are the same models published by ADI for any PSPICE compatible model.
The results using ADIsimPE or another simulator should be the same.
We provide ADIsimPE (for free) for users that do not have another SPICE simulator to be able to simulate ADI components. The benefit of ADIsimPE is also that it support the SIMPLIS simulator mode for power management products and integrates with ADIsimPower design tools.
If you are starting from the beginning it should not make a difference which simulator you use. ADIsimPE is a version of SIMETRIX and if you but the SIMETRIX license you can run all the models provided also.
Best Regards,
Luca
