Original Question: Components not found in the new 7.20 ADIsimPE version by Romeo93
I run a simulation using a circuit that was fine with the previous version od ADIsimPE.
Now I get a couple of error messages stating that a Mosfet (IRF630) and a core materila (N87 used in a pulse transformer) are not found in the ADIsimPE lib..
Is t possible that updating to the new version has removed some components from the Lib?

I ran it on my machine and it works correctly and the models were found on my installed library as you can see in the picture below.
During the instillation process there is a question about installing the library I believe, maybe you clicked "NO" instead of yes? or something went wrong during your installation?
I am not sure what is the best way to re-install the libraries but most likely you need to completely uninstall the application including some hidden files like C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Analog Devices\ADIsimPE720\config\base.sxprj (you could edit the line on the base.sxprj file that forces the library re-install if you do not want to delete it)
There may be some details on Simetrix web site about this.
What version did you have previously? 7.1?
It is possible that you had manually installed the models under the 7.1 version from IR or other vendors?
A new install of 7.2 would not import the models you manually installed from the other vendor, you may need to import the old library to your 7.2 version.
If that is not the case let me know.
Also you can send me the file directly by personal email (found on my profile).
thanks a lot for you comment.
Unfortunately I do not remember the previous version I worked with. I installed it from AD web site in June 2014.
I have not imported any component in the standard ADIsimPE lib. The strange is that both components (IRF630 and the N87 core material) are selctable from ADIsimPE lib, but when I run the simultaion the two errors occur.
I also try to replace these components with others (different mosfet and different core material) but the risult is the same.
Running a simultaion with another circuit (more complex but with only OP amps) everything work fine.
The circuit is very simple. I will send it to your e-mail.
here it is the simple schematic drawing of the circuit.
following your suggestion I've re-installed ADIsimPE and now everything works fine!!
Probably something gone wrong during the update.
Thanks a lot !!
