Does MAX17681 tolerate over voltage bursts of 60V for 10us?
The answer is NO: The device is rated up to 42V normal operation. Even the absolute maximum rating of Vin to GND is 48V which is below 60V. Therefore, stress above 48V will permanently damage the device and is Not recommended by Maxim.
