In MAX5995C circuit design, for AutoClass function, to further reduce the power consumption, can we connect AUC to Vss to select 5% duty cycle only?
Not every PSE can support such lower duty cycle( 5% ). For better PSE compatibility, we provide different options by connecting a resistor (no worse than 1% accuracy) between AUC and VSS to program the duty cycle of MPS: floating (> 25%), 332kΩ (15%), 121kΩ (10%), and short to VSS (5%).
