Could you tell me the response of the MAX16050/MAX16051 to an OV on a monitored rail? It says it sets the OV interrupt output, but we want to make sure it doesn’t also shutdown.
Answer:
An overvoltage detection will cause the OV_OUT\ open drain output to assert low, but will not cause OUT to go low (the channel will not be shut off).
