Article MAX16141 current limitation

Q:Is the overcurrent protection active during the sleep mode?  For example, in sleep mode is it possible that an overcurrent event (due to a fault) damages the internal bypass PMOS?

A:In sleep more output current is limited by the internal current source. So no additional current limit should be needed. Basically, PMOS inside is a current source and not just a switch.
