I recently measured the current draw of the BP-3CG1E-9002KT with Tx1 at full output power (no Tx attenuation), CW tone at 599 MHz. I measured about 1.5 amps on the output of the +5V switching regulator (U18) on the main board. Is that what you would (approximately) expect?
