So you are asking if you get the total impedance of the cell or only a part of it (WE + RE)?

I checked the help in the PStrace help:

There it is not exactly described, Zcell is mentioned without any details.

I'm going to look into this and get back to you.

I've reached out to PalmSens to clarify. The Pico is controlling the amplitude between WE and CE so the impedance is measured between those nodes.

I believe there might have been some confusion here. While the potential is applied between CE and WE, it is controlled between RE and WE. So the requested amplitude is present between RE and WE. This means the measured impedance is between RE and WE.
