AD5449 DAC output

I am wanting to use the AD5449 in my design but have a couple questions.

  1. If I understand the data sheet, the output is not buffered, and therefore an external op amp must be utilized. If so, can I not just use a balanced differential amplifier to get a non-inverting output, instead of the inverting amplifier scheme shown in the data sheet?
  2. Also, how is the feedback pins of the DAC connected (internal resistor, wired directly to current output pin, etc.)?  And can I leave the feedback pin not connected and provide feedback externally to the inputs of the op amp if I am able to use a differential amplifier as mentioned in question 1?

Thanks everyone for your input,

Brandon
