I am wanting to use the AD5449 in my design but have a couple questions.
- If I understand the data sheet, the output is not buffered, and therefore an external op amp must be utilized. If so, can I not just use a balanced differential amplifier to get a non-inverting output, instead of the inverting amplifier scheme shown in the data sheet?
- Also, how is the feedback pins of the DAC connected (internal resistor, wired directly to current output pin, etc.)? And can I leave the feedback pin not connected and provide feedback externally to the inputs of the op amp if I am able to use a differential amplifier as mentioned in question 1?
Thanks everyone for your input,
