The MAX98091 contains 3 independent analog audio output drivers. The first is a configurable analog Class AB programmable gain amplifier output that can be configured as either a differential or a stereo single-ended line output driver, the second are Class D differential amplifiers and, the third are Class-H headphone drivers.
Each of the three audio output drivers work independently, so it is possible to use the first as a single-ended class AB amplifier to drive an external speaker and then also use the second Class D differential amplifiers to drive a second speaker simultaneously.
