This feature should be avoided unless necessary. It doesn’t work with 3-wire RTDs, sensor rotation, or shared Rsense; it may only work in a 4-wire, non-shared, non-rotated setup.
- Setting Bits 17–14 to 0x0000 disables the internal current source.
- Enabling an external current source disables Rsense fault detection.
