Question
ADE7878 (version =2) and anomaly as described as er003 in
ADE7854_7858_7868_7878_Anomaly.pdf;
The rms registers can be read one at a time with at least 265 μs between the
start of the readings,
the rms registers can be read interleaved with readings of other registers that
are
not affected by this restriction. But same effect can be seen if reading
in-between
registers e.g. ISUM - RMS registers may be corrupted.
Hence unable to tell, if a register is corrupted or no register ISUM in this
situation.
Answer
Solution:
Request from local ADI Authorised distributor for a (released) silicon die IC
Version=4 that
does not have this anomaly. It does not make any sense to spend time with
problems that have been resolved. If you are developing a product, for
production then the chip/IC version to use is with version=4.
