What is the overall life-cycle of Trinamic products?
Trinamic products are used in a wide range of markets, including medical and surveillance/security. Applications in these markets often undergo various tests before being approved by official government bodies, such as FDA qualification. A timespan of more than 6 years from prototype to production is not uncommon. Some customers' applications take more than 10 years from prototype to production. That's why longevity is one of the key characteristics of Trinamic products. To achieve this goal, Trinamic works together with worldwide leading semiconductor foundries and packagers. In case of a product change (PCN) or discontinuation (EOL), we follow the JEDEC-46/-48 standard procedures and will inform our distributors & customers transparent about the maintenance or schedule last time buy option.
