In Master mode this is possible, since the BCLK and LRCLK are internally generated from the master clock (MCLK), but the BCLK and LRCLK pins must not be connected to ground (as this will pull the clock signal to ground preventing the Digital Audio Interface from working). It is best to leave them unconnected in this case.
In Slave mode this is not possible, since BCLK and LRCLK signals must be provided for the coherent orchestration of digital data in the Digital Audio Interface.
